 i knew immediately that i wanted to shoot something chocolate. it's hard. i'm not a food stylist and it was hard to keep fingerprints and chocolate smudges from ruining every shot.

the best part? getting to eat it afterward!

Limited depth of focus doesn't add something to the picture

Not enough depth of field. I would have prefered having all the chocolate in focus, rather than the isolation of a single piece.

nice macro, but a bit deeper DOF would have kicked the image up a bit -imo.

of alle the chocolate photo's I have seen, this is not the best. not the worst either though.

I like the photo, and the heap of the chocolate...I just wish there were more of the pieces in focus...but strictly my opinion! Nice job!

Just my taste, but I would've gone for more DOF here. That even the chocolate in focus isn't shallow enough to be completely in looks odd ...

I like the composition & lighting. Hope to see details on it!
