I want to thank my daughter Gretchen for letting me take her picture for this challenge. Acutally, we had a nice conversation while we were out doing this and I really enjoyed it. Don't get to see her too much now that she lives out of town.

Great acting! I love what your curves did to the sky. DPC typically gets grouchy about weird contrast on people, unless it's high key or grunge. It stunk that this wasn't an advanced challenge - because in that case you could have masked out your subject and had the effect in the sky only (as noraneko mentions). However, given the extreme/surreal leanings of a PF challenge, you should have been given more leeway and scored higher. Pffft.

Bob,
I like the rainbow effect behind your daughter, and also good composition (though I might have cropped a bit more off left side - feels a little long). This may have been over-sharpened a bit, and the saturation is definitely tweaked. This would have probably been stronger if you could have used advanced editing to pop the rainbow but not Gretchen's features. All in all an interesting entry, though, and I love the expression :-)

Sorry but whether it is due to the post processing or something else, the look of this picture definately doesn´t appeal to me personally. That sky or whatever it is in the backround just looks wierd and so does the person´s face, it´s like it´s blown out (in terms of highlights) and then darkened. Just all around wierd coloring and looks like you used some kind of trick filter on it. Anyway, that resulted in me giving this a score of 2 and I just thought I should at least explain why.

I believe her, she looks pissed. LOL...but a different crop would help and a different outfit...the overall setup and post-processing will probably hurt this image.

Hmm too dark, background almost doesn't look real but i dont wanna be accusing you of anything. She seems a little over contrasted too.
