I'll be amazed if this scores well. I haven't been very inspired lately, so I'm only entering something in case my WPL team doesn't have 4 entries. :-/
The model is Bullwinkle, my neighbor's Newfoundland puppy, and this was one of VERY few shots where he wasn't bouncing off the walls. I wanted to get a Santa hat on him, but he was more interested in eating it (and I'm sure there will be plenty of Santa hats in this challenge anyway).
Processing: Converted from RAW, Luko sharpening routine, assorted dodging on fur and eyes, colorize eyes from sample, clone out dust & one hair over eye, desaturate in Channel mixer, slight sepia tint in HSL, history brush color back into the eyes and ducky, crop, USM, use history brush to reduce sharpening on foregound and background floor. |

Nice capture, although I'm not sure about the toy. The yellow is pulling me away from the dog, which should be your main subject. I really like the composition. |

I love this photo. I like the DOF and the duckie makes the perfect accent/ |

7 - Nice. The duck/toy turned around and more pup included in frame, with the eyes 'popping' more, make this even better in my opinion. |

I like the selective desaturation. The eyes are precious and the duck is a nice splash of color. Good focus and composition and even lighting. |

Nice lighting, good details in dark tones, maybe a bit predictable composition. The yellow toy is almost disturbing. |
