this could be a really nice shot, but i'm afriad the jpeg artifacts on the face, or perhaps over-sharpening thingies, really pull this down. a tighter crop would definitely improve this as well.
a good start, keep shooting! |

3 - Looks like resizing issues primarily. Variation in crop and framing, likely have helped this too in my opinion. |

It looks as if the jpg compression has done some damage to the clarity of the image. 5 |

Looks oversharpened and blurry. I'd try using just a little more patience to wait until your puppy stands still. |

Looks like the face was over sharpened some jaggy lines around the eyes and top of the head. |

Freddy sure is cute! I wish the picture wasn't so grainy though....especially his face. It looks to me like it was oversharpened to compensate for being a bit out of focus. |

Nice shot but it a bit oversharpened. A softer look would have helped. The oversharpening took that away here. |

Love that look! Freddie's almost saying.....Hey, where you goin'? Get the camera off of me... I ain't in the mood!" *smile* Did you try to sharpen certain areas, like above his eye on the right side and around the left eye??? I have trouble too with sharpening too much. It sometimes makes it look out of focus/blurred. Freddie looks like a riot....mind of his own and very personable. |

There appears to be a significant amount of noise in this image - post processing may help reduce it some. It is especially noticeable above teh eyes and on the nose. |
