Julianne,
Your photos have definitely gone up a notch in the past month or so, and this is no exception. This guy has amazingly vivid colors, and he's very sharp. I think the only thing that may have hurt you is the white splotch in the background near top. One thing I learned in the online photo class I took last month was that the eye is always drawn to the brightest area in the picture. In this shot, it detracts from the parrot's face and pulls the eyes up and out of the photo. Nonetheless, this is a very strong effort and the title is great! |

| Good detail and colour, and I quite like the composition; I wonder if you mightn't have got even closer, and completely filled the frame with the bird - it seems a little half and half. |
