This is a nice shot, although I think that it could be beneficial to wait for a better moment, for the craftsman to look down at his work, or even cast a glance into the lens, instead of looking at someone/something left out of the frame.
The heavy black and white frame really makes it a pain to look at this image for longer than a few seconds. |

Almost perfect. I would like the beard and white shirt to be a little less exposed. |

Now where the H3CKam I gonna find those?!!! that's awesome - I love this guy. A tad more darkness on his details would've made it a 7.9, as is it's a 7. |

i like the presentation of this photo, the black and white calms down the business in the background... plus had a bit of a xmas feel to it!! nice! |

This is my favorite of the challenge. It's excellent. I know the vignette is an intentional addition, but I think the shot is strong enough without it. I also think the heavy black border is a bit to overpowering. To me it actually makes this perfect shot look more "processed" if that makes sense. I really like the craftsman and the way he is holding the shoe and looking at what I think would be a customer. (Rather than looking at the camera and smiling). He looks to be in mid-sentence, and selling the customer his handcrafted wares. 10 |

Nice image. Lots there to catch the viewers interest, yet controled enough through composition not to overwhelm. |

like a fairytail shoemaker type character!
Wish he was facing the camera
perfect in black and white particularly due to the wispy white nature of teh man
