 I made my dog (most important girlie I know) wear a Santa hat last year for her first Christmas photo. This year, as she has grown up so much, I thought a party dress and tiara would be more fitting. I just thought it would fit in this challenge.

This photo was taken in my new, very small studio and Margot Tenenbaum was my first subject. She hates the dress and tends to just freeze when I put it on her. Lots and lots of treats were offered up as bribes. I think it turned out great! This is my first submission and I look forward to hearing what people think.

Nice idea, but I think the negative space overwhelms her. She's getting lost in all that white, so I'm mostly seeing her outfit. I'm losing the tiara, too, which is a shame 'cause it's a cute touch.

6 - Like to have seen this with less empty space and more 'pop' (seems a little 'hazy') - but your call, obviously.

Tee hee hee, how very cute. For me, there is too much of a white background, but still a really great portrait.

What a good sport she is! She's so cute. I really like the minimalist feel to this. I hope there were lots of treats for her after having to wear a dress :)

I like the minimalist approach to took with this image. The glowing white around her with that dress is really cute and adds a touch of whimsy. I like the use of negative space. Good luck. 7

Crop feels unbalanced to me. Lighting is good and angle is interesting.
