The background and the unsharp face makes this photo pretty boring, a calmer background and sharp eyes would make it much more interesting!

5 - Find the background detracting as it does not complement the brindle coat, collar also detracts, in my opinion. Looks like some blur issues on the face/head.

like this shot very much, I think just the greener all the way through, against the nice redish color of the boxer, would have made it pop so much more, still giving you nice score. 8

seems that his/her chest and collar are sharper than his/her face ... I like the lighting and pose a lot though ... keep shooting!

Joe is pink! Otherwise, great photo. (Check white balance on camera or perhaps change in processing software.)

My dog had that exact same collar when she was a pup! Beautiful animal and a nice comp. Shadows seem a bit extreme on my monitor. (I.E. pup seems a bit dark)
