 Balloon Fiesta, N Mexico. zoom at 44mm. Polarizer. I met some new friends at the fiesta when their balloon landed right beside me. They saw my camera and asked if I would like to go up with their pals and shoot their balloons in the air. Part of their team had to leave next day, so they allowed my party to be on their team, and all 4 of us got to go up over the next couple of days. It was said to be the best ballooning day in memory by many of the old timers in the sport. Glad to share images of my good fortune here. : )

This is a fantastic shot!! Amazing crispness, even more when you consider that both you and the subjects were actually moving !! This pic is definitely making my favorites list.

how great!! I've never seen so many balloons, it might be so much fun to participate their! to fly with a balloon.. maybe it will be my Christmas wish next year:)

You got lucky! Not too many successful mass ascension days this year. sad that they are building so much not leaving laces for them to land. Great pic!
