3 - More lighting and sharper on the nose/eyes and a more refined crop (either including or excluding the purple collar) make this better in my opinion. Too dark overall. |

I see what you were going for, but the light side of the profile wasn't light enough to balance the dark shadows on the other side IMO |

add a light or reflector on the right to get rid of the shadows on his (or her) face |

I love the expression, yet the picture would be better with the left eye in focus (or the dog's right!??!) |

Nice drmatic lighting, I think the focus is somewhat soft, but you may have wanted it that way. |

i like the lighting of the 'beast' from the side, but would have liked to see a little more lighting on the nose - it seems to get lost in the shadows |

Too dark, especially on the left eye where all I can see is the gleam. |
