I would like to see more of the dog. There is too much foreground of beach. |

I think all the empty space takes away from the portrait aspect intended in this challenge |

I like the minimalism of your photo. It's a nice change from all the animal closeups. The coloring is great. Good luck in the challenge. |

I like the colors, but this is not a portrait in my opinion. I would score this high if it were not a portrait challenge. |

I would have scored this much higher if the dog was closer up and I could really see thiere expression. |

your dog seems to be only a part of the photo, not the focus of the shot |

The dog is a little too high in the frame for the sweet spot. Love the colors in the sand. |

To me a portrait implies being able to see the subject's face. Neat shot otherwise |

This almost isn't a portrait but I love it anyway. Great use of color and negative space. The dog is almost a little afterthought in the upper right hand corner. Nice image! 7 |

great composition and color. I just wish the dog was on the 3rd line, he's a little too high and right. |

I just wish that the dog would have been a LITTLE closer, as this challenge is of Pet Portraits. I just feel like the main focus of this photo is the different colored reflections on the ground (which is very pretty I must say)...I just wish I could see the dog better. Nice photo though! |

What a great shot. Love it. Especially love the "not centered" feature. |
