4 - Lighting seems too harsh and too close/intrusive. A much 'gentler' image would likely have given this an edge in my opinion. Variation in the background fabric too, although the color is quite nice. Not sure on the black frame.

lighting is a bit harsh and DOF is a bit shallow ... what a cutie though ...

Great photo, I just wished you would have taken advantage of this challenge being an Advanced Editing challenge, and would have edited out the bright reflection on his eyes.

what animal is this? a dog? an opossum? maybe a wire haired terrier puppy?
at first glance I thought it was the opossum.
