Nice capture with good composition. A bit soft; some sharpening would help bring out the textures of fur and bark. Barely meets the challenge.

Being in a shadow and showing a shadow are two different things. Here, the shadow hurts the photo by making it appear under exposed. Oh, and squirrels are evil! They'll take your nuts!!!

Very nice. I do not however see where this falls into the "Shadows" challenge.
I see a low lit shot of a squirrel on a tree?
If I'am missing something let me know.
