 i wasnt feeling that crash hot this morning, and had to go to a parents/kids group ...
the kids were outside playing in the DIRT, so obviously i thought of the 'DIRT' challenge, coz i'm obsessed with dpc ...
seeing the 400D is with me all the time, i whipped it out straight away and took a few shots ... and not that many coz i wasnt feeling switched on ...
i was going to use some dirty sheep for this challenge, but when i downloaded the shots from this morning i thought buggar the sheep ..... sorry for swearing ...

i'm happier with this entry than with any of my others ... i should get more than 5.5000 this time ...

So, I know this is an old entry, but it really caught my attention. I love the depiction of joy that's implied solely by the dirty hands. Not to mention the dichotomy of the hands and anglically clean face. Priceless!

Excellent shot Ros, terribly surprising with the contrast of the child's face and his hands ! The technical aspect of the shot is remarkable and the final result is wonderful !

Very cute. Like the contrast between the bright face and the slightly dirty hands. Skin on the face has a sort of odd feel to it - can't put my finger on it but a cute shot none the less. Back to bump you to 8.

Face looks too neat imaged for my taste. Where's the texture? It's there in his hands but not the face. I find this to be a big distraction.

Love the contrast of clean and dirty. Like the way the dirt is the focal point. Maybe crop out the shirts? My favorite in the "Dirt" challenge. Nice job.
