 Eggs are sitting on a home made light table. And also lit from the left. The areas on the bottom are supposed to be overexposed to give this shot some glow. I switched this shot in just a minute exactly before the challenge ended. Yes, I hate those dust spots too, with the angle as such it just picked up the dust over the entire depth of the plate. The version I pulled I like better composition wise, but it's so close. But, it has no dust but is a tad overexposed. Thought the overexposed areas where to be an even worse issue with the voters than the dust here, seeing this is a basic challenge, perhaps the voters would be somewhat forgiving :)

The pink hue comes for the Sat/Hue change for the Yellows. With the White Balance set and use of a warm light the eggs had a slight yellow cast which I then changed to pink. Admit I was a bit clumsy and lazy when shooting this one. I hollowed out the raw eggs before using them, even the one on the right. With the top off, broke 3 of them when trying to stand them up.

I'm not averaging more then 2 challenges a month these past few months. Just been too busy with work.

Nice colors and interesting idea. The ligh strip and reflection on the bottom with the fuzz seems kind of off but I like the image none the less. 7

I really love the uniqueness about this photo. The only idstraction is the red outline around the green in the flower. I really like the lighting and the reflection. 8
