This would have been nice for the sky challenge as well! Nice sillohette! At first glance, it's slightly cryptic though. Without the title, I don't know if it's clear that I'm looking at a grave site. I really do like the clouded background though!

I like the portrait orientation. I wish the peaked monument were less centered. Glorious sky! I might crop out about 2/3 of the black in the foreground as well.

I tried not reading titles of images before judging image and placed this one in the top six of my pix. Thought the sky added some add some major wieght to the subject....then I noticed the title and realize this image and title was working for you.
