Cropped way too tight at the top. You seem a tad bit underexposed as there is no true white on the egg. Also your white balance seems to be off.

Re your title - the egg is usually, well really, always, the perogative of the female. So, this nice queen of life is still nicely composed and well photographed. I very much like the background. It would be perfect if that sliver of black at the upper left had been covered with the b'ground material. Keep the good ideas coming. |

A more shallow depth of field and better focus on the egg rather than the pot holding it and a more crop on the bottom would have made it an even better photo |

This image isnt really grabbing me. The ripples in the cloth and the overall yellow cast isnt pleasing to my eye. Feels liek an odd setup. |

good subject... compo ? it would have been better (for me) landscape with the 2/3 compo... and not so close on the foreground.. |
