I had to do some quick votes this morning before leaving for work just to get the 20%. I'm afraid to say in that short time I gave it a lower score than I should have because of the distractions of the background, but I did enjoy the fact that he's balancing along the curb. I do that sometimes. ;-) |

Yay, finally, a real art photograph in the top 10. This should have won, of course. |

Great capture. Even more so if it is a true candid. It is nice to find the kid in people no matter how old. 7 for now. OK - I am back. I was watching my wife vote in this challenge and your image came up. I knew I liked it the first couple of times I viewed it but with a day or two away from it and then seeing it again it really just struck me how much I really like it alot. So on that note - double bump and added to my faves. |

whatever it is on the left throws out the balance, I would have cropped it out because this is a good quirky shot |

Wonderful moment and an adorable approach to the challenge. I would've even crop it tighter on the left to loose that wall. |

For me its as though the man is walking the plank with hands tied behind his back, has he had a good day at work and skipped onto the sidewalk? has he just been fired and contemplating how he is to tell his family? is there an engagement ring in his grasp and he is contemplating starting a family?

Wonderful. The contrast - the moment. The bikes add a foreign feeling to me because no one rides in the streets around here (not to mention that it's below freezing nowadays). The stuff on the lef could have been cropped out but that would have hurt the compostion. I would like to see this in the top 3. 8 |

Now i have rated only 45 photographs and after 45 photographs I think that is the better photo in the contest. 10 and in the favorites.
