Cool concept. Background of a wood floor? Little extra effort with a black background (or some solid color) and this would look about 10 times better.

This is beautiful, did you know the actual color of this leaf is yellow. Very Creative Idea.

beautifully set up, well done

Absolutely amazing. What a fantastic idea and execution too.

Interesting concept, probably better executed on earth rather than on a floor.

I love the idea, just wish you'd chosen a different background. Good luck anyway.

very creative...I like the idea....perhaps the background could have been different, but on second thoughts, I think it's appropriate...well done 8

Beautiful idea!

simple idea, beautifully done

very good I love the way you have put the leaf at different stages up to death but I would have prefered a more distracting background

I like the idea; a different background (on soil, for example) would be better.

Nice perspective...could have been shot better with the older ones fading out ... but great perspective...couldnt have struck me

I like the idea. But the presentation is not very impressive. A closer crop would have worked better (maybe less leaves to allow for it). I think the lighting is a little off took, as it adds all these white highlights to the leaves, instead of just letting us see the colours. So, to resume: great idea, but to improve, you could use less leaves (maybe 5), separate them and zoom in closer, fix lighting.

It would have been perfect if ths had a plain white background, still I think is a veri nice graphical idea. At least someone did something different with leafs.

Well thought out piece. "if it was mine" I'd probably crop out a lot of the background adding more emphasis on the leaves. But it's not, it's yours, and I really like the idea behind this very nice image.

great lineup... especially since they are spread across the remains of a tree...

Not the best photo in the challenge but certainly worth something. Great idea...8

Perfect. 10

aha. this is clever.

Nice idea and I like the lighting and the tones and textures. Not sure about the centered composition but otherwise, I like it. 7

cool idea.

I really love the idea of this but I think the wood floor boards hurt it. If placed on a solid white or black background, it would have worked better.

interesting...

though still of snapshot quality. try to put a little more depth into this image and it scores higher.

very cool setup of the leaves from fresh to dried up and dead...

I would love this on a solid black or white background. The wood grain, despite the tree connection, is distracting IMO.

It would be nice if this was cropped down just to the leaves. The space outside is more of a distraction than anything

Nice idea: but an extreme tight crop on this would perhaps have been more dramatic

What you did with the leaves is very nice. I really like it. I wish it was on a different background though. Maybe a white background would help the leaves pop.

nice idea, creative execution.
a tighter crop and maybe a nice frame would make this even more attractive.
well done, a 7

Very nice idea!

Might have benefited from a tighter crop, and I would suggest punching up the contrast a bit.

Picture that tell a story without words. Nice!

neat idea, the floor is distracting. I different background would make this a really strong image.
