 This is why i need a proper macro lens people... good idea (i think :P), but friggin impossible to do without iso400, as i couldn't get my tripod into position... and then because i couldn't use an aperture of 40 or so, not enough dof >< ... clearly macro lens is next on the list. Apart from that, basically shot was taken with a reverse mounted 50mm lens on a 70-300mm lens. Fairly sure this could have turned out better if i put a bit more effort into better lighting setup, and figuring out how to get tripod in play on this shot... oh well

- HSL - toneddown clours, then restored saturation to plant

- seperate sharpening and noise ninja ing layers masked certain areas

I love the idea and subject but i think it needs more image detail - looks too tightly cropped or over-processed or something.

Potentially a great shot, but it is a tad bit noisy and the white is ever so slightly overexposed.

Impressive for the magnification, but doesn't do too much for me otherwise. The curve of the seedling is fairly nice. 6
