This is an egg. I couldn't think of anything else to take a picture of for this challenge. I didn't edit it very much at all. Since my score was higher than my average, maybe I should learn a lesson from this and not edit so much in the future. Thanks for the comments, everyone!

Perhaps it's a touch too abstract for the challenge, but the shot is awesome. I actually thought this was a tantalising body curve! (hinting at desire as a root of life). Great job - and with just an egg! Tells me to lift my backside and go shooting!

i like the ways life is portrayed it this shot maybe i'm thinking too much about it but yellow for sun in a new day, bump for pregancy and of couse the egg half of the life creation. good use of lighting and dof well done!

Reminds me of a lot of Ursula's work. Very cool abstract flow of the egg/ white in the background. Cool light too. I think the black line at the top really helps to frame and balance the shot. Leading off to white wouldn't be as strong.
