| A very interesting photo with the beans(?) sprouting. Good use of DOf in this composition, but some of the glare/reflections is a bit harsh though. |

Like the idea and concept of this image a lot. Depth of field works well. Composition is fine.
Technical flaws hurt this image. Most noticeable is the haloing, both white and black, along edges of the sharply focused main subject on the left. That is a big distraction. I rarely comment on borders and do not lower scores based on them, but I suspect there are voters that do and will rate this image lower because of it. Your border adds nothing to the composition and is very distracting. |

| Good idea but the lighting is really harsh and all coming from the direction of the camera, which doesn't enhance the scene much. More diffusion would help, as would getting the light off camera if possible. |
