 Shot this one in a pile of old two-by-fours at the side of the house. The actual image was originally much warmer but I cooled it down a lot in Photoshop to fit the contest theme a bit better. This is my second time really altering the color for a contest (the first time didn't really turn out to well) so we'll see how this one goes.

Thanks for all the comments guys. This contest was a surprisingly low scorer...nonetheless, even with a 5.6, I was able to sneak into top 50, which is good enough for me :)

I love this photo! The focus is dead-on sharp, the shallow DOF is great, and the muted colors really complete this shot. Well done!

Hardly can say it's a nice picture, but it is very well done. I just don't understand the title - is this some idiom?
