Congrats on finishing in the top ten - however, I fully expected this to be a ribbon winner. It is such a fantastic picture! Nicely done!! |

Top 10! Congratulations! I, of course, expected this to blue. It is IMO. I read the comments on the blur. It looks like it was a windy day with blowing sand. Very nice as usual. |

Heck of a finish, Bea! Congrats on making top 10 in such a difficult challenge with this lovely, moody shot! Nipomo Dunes, if I'm not mistaken? I spent many happy hours there with the view camera back in the day...

Just when you think you are sick of these damn sand dunes another one comes up and I think "why couln't I get such delicate curves then I shot these damned sand dunes?". I take my hat off to you. Good find, and the choice to blur the fore and backround works very well |

Great job on the composition and the contrast between sand and sky. |

Love your shapes as well as forms. I wish the clouds were whiter and the little triangle of dark to the left was not there. I still voted this one very high and will not be surprised to see it top 10. congrats ahead of time. ;) |

10- but what does it look like with a horizontal cropping? would it make it stronger. |

Very interesting use of light & depth of field. It almost looks like a miniature model. |
