 shortly after sunrise, crawling around in the streets, waiting forever for just that perfect shot. i couldn\'t find it while i was looking for it, but when i sat down it jumped and hit me in the face. and by the time i lifted my face from the camera it was gone already.

What the hell? 5.2? This is really good, screw the voters. With the light, the composition and the smoke it does look like a scene from a movie, which I'm guessing you were emphasising with the vertical bars. Don't you just love it when people automatically dismiss a shot because it has centered composition... not

subject is dead center - it almost nver works for the coposition and it dose not work here for your picture.
