 Has been a long time since I last entered but got talked into submitting by a couple of friends on here.

Shot in the afternoon sun. Deliberately underexposed to retain highlights and then increased shadow detail in photoshop. Burnt the clouds back in and, added some contrast, converted to b/w, resized, noise reduction and sharpened.

And was pleased with how it turned out.

I gave a 6 but came back out of curiosity to find out more. The image had a dark feeling to it which sort of repelled me at the time. The large blank space on the left didn't seem to contribute much. The ceiling does contribute a lot, though. On returning, I can see past my initial feelings of rejection. It's an image - like blue cheese - that is an acquired taste, if you know what I mean.
