Wow, MM this is a fantastic shot! Seems like it should have faired better by my standards. The contrast is excellent and the brown seems like a true colour capture.
Some suggestions for improvement:
Not sure if this was intentional or not but the lighting seems just a tad unbalanced. Seems that there is more light towards the top than on the lower right. One thing I think you could have done to adjust this is in an adjustment layer of levels. Hit the white eye drop and click it on the lower right to adjust the white to be a bit brighter.
Lastly, the leaf is a bit dark. I think a tad more light would have made it pop a bit more. Maybe a tighter shot or even a macro would have hooked this up. What lens did you use?
All in all a slammin' shot! Way to represent Team 400D!

| Would of caught more interest with a lot of leaves bleeding one after another. Color is good, picture crisp. |

| The stark white background is a little bright for my sensitive peepers. I think an eggshell color would be lovely. I love the shape of the leaf and the clarity. Nice shot. 7 |
