 Not bad for being taken 2 hours before roll over
Pompadour, Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, Marquise d'Etoiles (1721-1764)
Madame de Pompadour was a lady of the French court and mistress to Louis XV. She was a major influence on French politics of the mid-18th century. As she died, Madame de Pompadour called on God to "Wait a second." When He did, she quickly applied rouge to her cheeks.

Wow... it's awesome to see a shot of you without your signature "eye-stripe-of-the-day". I like this look! :o)
Great lighting, nice composition, and interesting crop. Seems to be a very slight color-cast on your lower right cheek, but it doesn't distract from the AWESOME catchlights !!! Fits the challenge very well - can't tell you how often we hear THAT :o)
