| artful. i like how the background one is closed and the foreground one is open. i really like the lighting on the stems except for the blown areas on the front one |

I was contemplating these last words, but didn't enter - I'm not that good "with" flowers.
Fantastic shot, one of the best in the challenge ... if not THE best. |

| Beautiful. I gave it an 8, but it would have been higher if the second bud had been as sharp as the first (I know it was intentional, just my preferance) |

| Nice idea. The DOF hurts this a bit - the back rose either needs to be in focus or be more out of focus. It's quasi-focus is distracting. |

| It's a lovely picture of two rosebuds, as per the title, but it's not telling a story or depicting an event. |
