I think a straight horizon would really help this photo. The line of the wharf would make a more pleasing diagonal. |

Horizontal lines dominate this picture in my eye. You could have cropped a chunk out of it with the bottom of the boat down at an angle and had an interesting abstract shot. |

Like the lines of the structural elements. Would fine rotation (and crop) to straighten not emphasize the diagonal a bit more? |

Minimum contrast b&w conversion - an unorthodox graphic approach - probably will not be too popular. I think a interesting image and good overall composition, very subtle diagonal emphasis to the dock. A good dockside view loaded with hardware & nautical detail. |

I can see the diagonal, but the main composition is horizontal..I love the repeating patterns (but they are horizontal). Also, the horizon isn't level. Very well suited to b/w, but the contrast is a little lacking for me. |
