 This is my front porch at sunset with the rail shadows crossing over.. The light that's presented here every day at sunset makes for some really groovy anglular shadows... I used PSE 4.0 in the following manner: auto levels, auto contrast, with additional darkening of midtones, additional boost of contrast, saturation x2 of entire photo, unsharp mask x2, cropped, neat image filter and sharpen, lastly resized for upload... this was hand held at 50 mm with 17-85 lens

Diagonal and lack of interest. Those shadows could marvelously cascade over a good subject.

As with my entry, there is no primary focal object except the lines. You have the tech, now go after the emotion.
