oooh... love it... maybe try a pass of shadow/highlight? - though it may take away a little of the foreboding quality... |

Raish,
I gave this photo a 7, as I really like the interaction between the cats and the expression on the one cat's face. I suspect some people were a little harsh because the photo is fairly dark, and often cats don't do well in general. I agree with some of the other photos that a bit more light would have made a big difference. |

I like the cat, but can't make out anything else. Maybe a case? Oh is there another cat? This may be one of the Monitor things where it looks someone what different on each. I would like to see an out take of this where I could see it more. Any way cute cat. |

Can't really make out the cat on the left. Dark subject against dark background without adequate lighting to separate the two. |

This has the look of an old, antique post card. Like how you cropped it. 8 |

Too dark, specially on the dark kitty. I almost missed it. |

I had a hard time seeing the second cat, which is critical for the diagonal in your image. A little better lighting would have really helped. |

Would be far more interesting if it wasn't so dark! |

I like how the line of sight between the two becomes part of the comp. To bad you couldn't put their heads at the rule-of-thirds line intersections. |

4 - Funny shot. Diagonal aspect not as strong as I'd like to have seen for this Challenge, the lighting is a bit harsh giving it somewhat of a snapshot feel, but fairly minor. Perhaps a more refined crop on the left, would have made this even better. Good capture and very good title. |

Beautiful color and contrast on the larger cat. The rest of the shot is too dark on my monitor. The diagonal works. |

Nice interplay between the cats, shame the kitten is lost in the background. |

Nice diagonal tension btwn felines, intriguing box, perfect exposure of big tabby, but little puss too dark, white whiskers notwithstanding. |

the lighting let your photo down as it's a bit too dark to get the sense of interplay between your two "models" |
