This picture is inspired by the famous words of Bart Simpson "Eat my shorts". I figured it is really hard to eat somebodies shorts and I didn't want my brother to go through that, so socks were a good substitute. :)

This is the first picture I send to DPC, and also I am not good at editing so it can probably become better. Editing is: brightness, contrast, saturation, temperature, sharpness&unsharp mask, exposure, levels and curves. I used a little healing brush on a couple of really small details.

The focus is a bit soft. Nice bw though.

If its a "famous last word", shouldn't it be more along the lines of "If I'm wrong, I'll eat your socks"?

The focus is a bit too soft.

I am left wondering what prompted this poor soul to have to eat your socks. I'm also left wondering if Bart Simpson the European version requests this instead of shorts. I'm afraid other than a bit of fuzz on the end your sock it more resembles a piece being cut out of my monitor...not that, that effect isn't very interesting on it's own.

good idea, but it seems out of focus.

I don't understand the quote as "Famous Last Words" on any level. Never heard that in 51 years and in many areas.

"... then I'll eat my socks" would've met the challenge better. Not very sharp. Not sure if it's out of focus, motion blur, or shake. Details lost in the shadows.

Great take on the theme. The focus is too soft for my liking.

I like the composition but the rest of it...OOF is the main problem.

Funny shot, but blurry to the point of being distracting. I do like him over there on the side, though.
