| nice colors, but not a particularly compelling image, and not one that telegraphs "alone." |

| This image is elegant in its simplicity. The trees give the hill a great texture. Certainly the hill top is all alone, but I really don't get a feeling of loneliness or solitude from it. |

| Seems a bit of a stretch for the challenge, I don't get a feeling of solitude or loneliness from the image. I think its a good photo technically, though. Nice colors, great use of natural light. The focus seems a bit soft, but its not a huge deal. Simply doesn't connect for me in general interest or under the challenge. 6 due to good tech. merit. |
