 Took this at San Francisco Zoo. I know it's almost cartoony color-wise, but this guy really reminded me of Narnia (movie). He IS roaring, even though it looks a little like a yawn. Burned a lot, especially on the mouth b/c it was blurry b/c of the roar. Also sharpened quite a bit.

I just added this to my fav's, I'm so glad I stumbled across it, it is beautiful. Fantastic cooridination of colors, super amazing pose, and I love the softness, which I guess could be attributed to the movement. I know the lion was moving, but looking at the bokeh I don't think you could blame him for all of it, it looks like the cameras side was moving a bit too. Anyway great photo.

Should have finished higher. Really like it. Good composition, complementary colours, and motion. Nice.

I gave this an 8. I thought the bright simple colors and the glow were magical, and really did evoke Narnia for me.

I have mixed emotions about this one. It is an interesting image, but is also on the "overprocessed" side.
