I love it's simplicity. Her sweater pops out, although she is just a "speck" on the photo. Good eye for detail!! |

Sorry I missed this the first time around. It really does convey the feeling of joy one can have even when all alone - or maybe especially when all alone. By including so much of the shoreline, you convey that feeling of aloneness and the sense of freedom that goes with it. |

Thanks to all who commented. I took this from a fishing pier. I was fascinated by this little cutie, watched her for about 15 minutes. She was so obviously happy, and content to be by herself, that it gave me joy just to see her frolic. I think many of the commenters got the same feeling and that makes me think my photo did a good job of communicating the ocasion. |

She looks like she's having fun and the vast expanse of empty beach suggests she's alone. That says solitude to me! Good lighting; the long thing shadow is intriguing. But I especially like the unusual point of view, from over the water. Very creative. |

Vert good capture. A minor issue with it is the girls shadow seems over pixelated. She is nicely placed in the frame. |

Great perspective! The natural light is nice, has a softness too it that extends to the water and beach. The rather neutral colors help enhance the subject, she stands out very well. There's a feeling of 'all alone' but not solitude or loneliness to me - this is a rather joyful image. I like it. Good use of space. 6 |

Lovely capture. Wonderful diminishing perspective. It is a delightfully joyous solitude. The fact, that the girl appears subordinated to its vast environment is especially poignant! I have nothing to add. |

The pink really makes her stand out so you take notice of her. Well done. In others like this, the subject blends into the image too much. Good job seperating the two. |

Finally alone and happy... So many of the pics in this challenge relate to being alone and sad. The arms swinging and the bright pink top make this a really fun "alone" photo. 8 |
