| Lovely study, but I'm biased. I did my thesis on these. I wish I could have borrowed your photo for the frontispiece. They're nice and full and the patina of the bowl is beautiful. |

| Technically excellent, but IMNSHO it needs a dash of another color to liven things up. |

| I do prefer the pears because they seem softer and subtler, but this is a nice study of contrasts, particularly the magenta feeling of the skins against the earthier bowl. |

| The lighting is just perfect - creating an almost matte glow on the onions. Lovely. |
