I generally leave this section as n/a but figured I might as well say what I did.

I took a clear 40 watt lightbulb and heated the metal end up on the stove and using good gloves pulled the entire end metal end off. I then had to use a dremel tool to score and edge around the end because the inner filiment was attached to the bulb as in one piece. I had originally wanted to include the filiment but it just kept falling into the bulb. I then put 3 neon tetras into the bubl and filled it with water and hot gun glues the metal end back on.

I had originally put the light into a socket but it did't look right and it leaked :> (their was no power to it at the time). But ended up having singsushine(my fiancee) hold it for me.

After sumbitting it I didn'y like the shadows on her fingers but didn't have time to correct it.

As far as in Post processing it was pretty simple.
Duplicate layer
Select fingers and fish on top layer delete everything else.
Go back to bottom layer and then use a Channel Mixer Adjustment layer
Then a Brightness Contrast adjusment layer
USM on both layers
Set the top layers opacity to 65% and Overlay mode.

I didn't want that bright of colors because I figured a brighter anything really didn't fit the challenge for me. I didn't plan on the finger nail design to mimic the fish at all but will take credit for it now :)

Creative and well executed. I don't mind the shadows on her fingers. Gives a nice contrast to the glass and fish. Very nice!

Good idea !
What I dislike in this photo : the nails , they catch the view (instead of the fishes) and the shadows on the hand because the lighting is quite good on the bulb.
I don't want to be misunderstood , I like the nails but not in this photo.

Pros: Composition, lighting, colors, nail makeup to match fish pattern?
Cons: tip of bulb seems tilted
Score: 8

Nice twist on the fish thing, and the pattern on the nails go well with the fish. I like the title.

Awesome! Very creative, it is masterfully done. I don't know how it's done, but it is great. The composition is simple, with no distracting elements, but the impact is huge.
