 Taken at Julia Davis Park in Boise, Idaho on a cool Sunday afternoon outside the zoo.

Note: This is my first submitted picture. I am just a beginner and I am open to any and ALL suggestions, tips, and any constructive criticism. Thank you. I will try to get aperture settings and all that other good stuff on future submissions.

I like the black & white choice, gives the contrasts a boost and adds a starkness. Focus is good, I wish the whole leaf were in focus though. Nice perspective. An interesting image. 7

This one would have been more interesting to me in color, best of all if its been a leaf in beutiful fall-colors against green grass...

Well I reckon I know whos this is and shot just as well as all the other pictures of late ! ;0)

Excellent shot keep it up - Oh and the tones of the picture work very well for this shot to me...

It looks like there's another leaf just behind and to the left of it?

I really like the unusual angle and the B&W treatment is fantastic. One of my favorites in this competition.

The leaf is a bit too light and grey for me, i focus my sight more on the grass. Maybe if you'd left it colourized, it would have shown the loleliness more. The idea is anyway, a neat one.
