 My original subject was sitting to the right of the sign smoking (you can just see his legs and arm) then this lady came along. She knew I was taking pics of her and she was giving me the death stare but I persisted and got this shot.

I would love to send her a copy of this image. That will not happen but if somebody that views this re-thinks their next cigarette then I will be happy.

Good image, but I personally think that cropping off the right 1/3 of this photo would make it much better.

Good "last word", nice image to match. Long lens? Nice foreground and background blur to isolate the subject. Nicely seen and captured. Good luck in the challenge.

Love the looks of this image, the rich (but not strident colours), the selective focus. Poinsettas out of focus look great! Great match for the challenge too. ~10

Excellent composition, I am particularly impressed with the inclusion of the flowers and wall in the foreground, which resemble a dressed coffin.

Meets the challenge perfectly. Shame about a few jpeg artefacts across the picture. Personally, I'd've cropped off the right 40% and the bottom 30%

I like the perspective and the DOF is very good. The subject matter is a little dull but wortks well in this challenge.

The people on the right looking sprite and healthy really made an impact on me in comparison to the woman smoking, I like this very much and what a strong message, will send this to a certain person in my life at the end of challenge!
