Greetings from the Critique Club!
What a cool shot. When I first glanced at it I thought I was looking at some really neat ice cubes with some coloring in then but then realized it was just colored dice, but cool all the same.
Nice shot in that you have your focus and the detail shown is really nice.
But, the first feeling I get from this shot after looking at it is that the dice are begging to be set free. Reading your comments I realized you are very limited on just how much space you can put around them but even on a washing machine, unless it's a tiny apartment size one, you should be able to add a little more space around the subject. This will bring more lightness into the overall shot and possibly bring better composition to the shot.
The color on the dice probably hurt you in the end, while not solid colors it is still very dark compared to the white of the machine.
Looking at your profile and portfolio you have some really nice work and a great eye. I hope to see more of your work soon!

| I didn't vote in this challenge but if I did I would have given it a 6. I loved the composition and the lighting was close to perfect. It looks like the bottom left needed to be a bit more white. Also, I looks like the aperture should have been set to f8 so all the dice would have been in focus more. Still this was a great shot and should have done better. Keep on shooting. |
