Nice close-up. The red drop really contrasts with the green. the black background is good, too-makes the need stand out a lot.

..great close up, I like the colors and bluriness. however, there's a red spot hanging above the needle that could have been edited out..

I like the sparkle on the liquid at the end of the needle, use of colour and the way you have used focus on the point of the needle. Really nice.

Great colors and DOF, as well as composition. The first drop on the table? below is a little distracting, but this is still among my favorites to take a ribbon.

I really like this shot. I thought about using the Salk Polio vaccine for my entry, too. However, all of the polio vacines I know of were administered as drop taken orally. Ours were on sugar cubes. Somehow that's not nearly as interesting visually as the syringe.
