Greetings from the Critique Club: I have been assigned your photo to critique and here are my thoughts:
Personal Reaction: I am a mathematician by training, and a computer science engineer by vocation. I really liked your photo and it appealed to my sense of symmetry and mathematical precision. Well done.
Composition: Normally I am not an advocate for a centered composition but here it works well.
Technicals: Focus is perfect, as is lighting, DoF and so on. Technically, I can suggest no improvements. I am impressed with the clarity of the image given its very long exposure.
Conclusions: A pleasing abstract image, mesmerizing in its simplicity. It resonated well with those who commented, but not quite as well with the general population at DPC. Possibly a stretch for the general notion of perspective?

Thanks to all with the many positive comments. I was very happy with this image. The image is of a latticed dome over a courtyard. The top is probably 30 plus feet above the ground. With out a wide angle lense I couldn't capture the curve of the dome. Enjoy.
