I just came across Matt's great photo from Free Study XV, with a similar view...

Nice shot Bryan, I was wondering who took this one, I was just there two days before the challenge, A classic shot and I could see it being a a big selling psotcard for sure. Congrats on 13th place in this tough challenge! |

Impressive. I like that it isn't your typical Golden Gate shot. Congrats on the great score! |

I love the unique perspective of this shot. The balance of negative and positive space is perfect. Your usage of the rule of thirds is well noted. An overall great shot and a perfect a postcard. Way to go. |

I'm voting this a 6. It would have been higher without the cables left of the tower. I realize that might have gotten you a DQ, though. |

Wonderful juxtaposition of the bridge tower and San Francisco downtown. Wish that there were a bit less of the black lower left, maybe a slight crop would help. |

A subdued font treatment would have been more appropriate here (forget all that embossing - it's generally cliche), but I love the composition & light! Excellent job... |

The lighting on this is perfect. The bridge has a nice even color and the city behind is not overpowering yet it is an integral part of the picture. Good luck. |

Certainly has a postcard look and feel to it. Nice job of processing done with this. I like the way you've laid out the main subjects to balance the composition. The black diagonal of the hillside works great for placing the text. No complaints here. Good luck! |

I really like this shot however you took away a lot by using the black area to put the text in (about a full third of the frame actually). A different color of font etc and placed elsewhere would allow you to show more of the bridge. |
