 This was totally unstaged. I was trying to get some action shots, but my telephoto isn't good enough to get the cool shots, so I was aiming for a skier skidding to a stop with some snow spray with the mountain in the background. This shot happened when the front skier stepped in front of me. The skier in back did not mow her down, and in fact didn't even come close. I have no idea what the freaky look on her face is about, but the way the photo turned out it looks like he's about to plow right into her and she knows it.

lots of tinkering with levels, curves, brightness and contrast
