 It was quite hard this week to take a photo with a blue sky! Rain, rain, rain...
This is St. Mary's church in Lübeck. I went onto a tower of another church (St. Petri) to have this view. The church is quite big as you can see. It's so impressive when you stand in front of it and look up!

I love this shot and think it looks quite postcardy ;)

Thanks for your nice comments and scores! It was not possible to take a shot of the whole church as their is a quite modern building in front of it. It would have ruined the shot.

I love the trails from the planes in the sky!! At first I thought it was a bit distracting, but then I realised it brings a certain dynamic to the picture that's really awesome and makes it more than just a pretty landscape.

Very beautiful photograph and a perfect choice for a postcard. That green roof really helps separate that church from the rest of skyline, and that sky is totally awesome. I don't think I've ever been to Lubeck, but you definitely got me missing Germany(visited family in Kassel a lot as a kid). Great job, 10!

would have been nicer to see the whole cathedral, but probably there are rooftops in the way. lower part of sky is a bit dull, could have been toned. cathedral roof and towers look a tad oversharpened

the cathedral seems to have been cut off at the knees. A different crop would have worked better, where we can see more of the city, and less sky.

Lubeck is one of the nicest citys in Germany that I have been to. And has got a great tivoli :o) I think that this photo is ok but dos not capture the beauty of Lubeck as I remember it. But I will give you a 7. Auf widersehen.
