 When the challenge was announced my first thought was the assassination of Robert Kennedy as I was born on June 4, 1968. But living in Memphis the easier representation would be MLK's assassination two months before I was born.

My mother has told me of the chaotic time that I came into this world. I can only imagine a 7-month pregnant women in a city filled with riots and hate. It is a miracle we (the US) made it through it.

Great tribute image, complete with wreath and vintage cars. Car seems a bit too dominant, consider cropping more, maybe cropping out the plate.

Were you actually born on that date? And, is that the actual balcony where he died? Very good photo. Well composed and exposed. I like your colors. Great perspective.

Great 60's feel in this shot. Love the cars and the very 60's motel. Even the tones in the shot come across as 60's. I am confused as to what actually happened on that date. I can bring it down to a few possibilities, but sometimes I just want the quick answer. 7
