Nice to read your notes. Such an enduring image. One that has special meaning for us all in one way or another - but one you can keep in your scrapbook for many future looks. |

Yes, it was very sad. Brings back memories even though I was just a kid then. |

I like it a lot, little to guide us, and yet indeed, the visual allusion is unmistakable, even without a crown. Another great contribution. |

Great tribute image, complete with wreath and vintage cars. Car seems a bit too dominant, consider cropping more, maybe cropping out the plate. |

Don´t really get the title and how it ties in with the photo but who cares :) |

Were you actually born on that date? And, is that the actual balcony where he died? Very good photo. Well composed and exposed. I like your colors. Great perspective. |

I am struggling to see the historical event/idea that happened here... a bit cryptic, but a stylish shot nevertheless with great hues. |

MLK? Is this a model or the actual place? |

Dramatic and tragic. I think this is one of the most subtle, yet strong photos of the challenge. 9 from me. |

How did you get so lucky as to have those vintage cars in place for this photo? It certainly works well for the theme of your image. Good luck in the challenge. |

Nice angle on this. You really went the extra mile to get the period cars. |

I spent five years in Memphis... driving by here always leaves me silent... |

Great 60's feel in this shot. Love the cars and the very 60's motel. Even the tones in the shot come across as 60's. I am confused as to what actually happened on that date. I can bring it down to a few possibilities, but sometimes I just want the quick answer. 7 |

This looks just like a 1968 motel postcard. |
