You did deserve better. But the number of comments show that your photo received due attention. Keep up the good work.

Thank you all very much for your comments. I thought this would make it in top 20, but I am happy with 22nd place. I am quite new at posting (this being only my second challenge) and I can see that my borders are lowering my score. I entered a decent shot in the Diagonal challenge as well, and I already got comments on my borders being too large.

The thing is i like my borders, I feel they help concentrating over the picture itself, they bring the viewer closer. thats how i like it and i am not gonna change it just to get extra points here. If u like my pics, but hate the borders, well then, I will live with that, and, at the end of the challenge I will pretend I have a bit of a higher score.

Thanks again for the comments. And, Kelly, I would be happy to send you a large version of this shot, so u can print it and put it on your wall. Thanks again!

This photo is fabulous. IMO, should have been in the top 10. Beautiful perspective, amazing color and contrast. I would love to have this on my bedroom wall. It's one of my favorites on the site. It's dramatic and relaxing at the same time. LOVE IT! (I gave it a 9)

Not only is there too much border, but I think the white in the border makes the whites in the picture look dirty, more of an off-white. Because of that, there's less contrast between the foreground white and the brown of the cliffs on the right and the hazy blue of the sea on the left. I like the picture, I just wish it were crisper.

What a wonderful Maurice Escher type of image. The forms, stairs, and view are magnificent. 9.

Nice shot. I would prefer to see a larger image and not so much border.

I'm not a big fan of fisheye photos but this is well done. Don't like the size of the border and my guess is you'll get lots of comments about it.

nice shot, maybe a tad too dark, but frame is overdone and takes away from the light southern mood

Interesting, almost surreal shot. That looks like a very fascinating place to hang out. What a view!

I dislike borders immensely. Good use of fisheye. Reminds me of Greek philosophers pondering the edge of the world.
