Rather a lot of empty foreground and perhaps to many scattered sheep to be truly aesthetically (sp?)pleasing.

is 4:5 a proper aspect ratio for postcards? text is welldone & the distribution of sheep is picturesque

Seeing this image and title connected me to you right away. I'm of Scottish decent but born and raised in Salem, Oregon USA. There is a place here called, "The Three Sisters" in the Cascade Mountains that the run along the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Here is a picture I took of Oregon's "Three Sisters":

Nice, tranquil setting. Has a "Scottish" look about it. You might consider cropping some off the bottom and far right side to better highlight the hills and sheep.

Maybe a tighter crop and sharper image. Nice scenery though.

I'm planning a motorcycle tour of Scottland next summer, this is a great shot, gives the feeling of freedom.

Everything seems more or less out of focus - it's very hard for the eyes to find rest here.

Your horizon line could be either a little higher or lower. The image is also not quite balanced. (All the sheep are on the left hand side of the picture without some element to balance things on the right). Can't wait to find out where this is because I was in Scotland over the summer and I loved it.
