I guess I was thinking more along the lines of "#1 performer" than trying to subliminally influence people's scores. I'll keep that option in mind for future challenges, though!

Nice one too. Good lighting, nice idea. Should have been voted higher.

The highlight on the block is good, I could see this as being something seen on a stage, however, I'm not a fan of the carpet/fabric beneath it. It has texture but I think that distracts a little, making it look a lot more softer than it probably is, also the red blends in. I think a slightly different angle and a white or black 'background' would helped the image immensely. The concept itself is great.

Nice use of a mundane object and transforming it into something very interesting. The lighting really helps the transformation. The title fits the piece wonderfully which always helps. Could use a little more crispness. I also wonder if a different color underlay may have made for better contrast. Still I like the vision behind this image and the execution. Well done. 7

Simple and to the point. It seems just a little out of focus at the apex of lighting but a good picture none the less.

I think the background detracts this image most for me. Good use of thirds and composition, but an uninteresting subject matter for me :(

Very creative and simple, the lighting accentuates the block wonderfully, this is great I like it
